I figured since I love cooking that it's about time I start posting my favorites recipes.
Yippee.
Up first:
Dallas Marsala aka Heaven On Earth.
Nothing beats your first home cooked meal after being in military training for 7-8 months. I visited my Nana in Dallas while in training and we made and named this absolutely amazing dish together.
What is it?
It is an artichoke pasta and tilapia made in white wine and lemon with a side of garlic parmesan baguettes.

Est Time: 25-30 Minutes
I don't use measurements, it's done to taste and depends on the amount of people eating, therefore no amounts or measurements posted. Use your own judgement :]
Ingredients:
(I recommend getting these items at Whole Foods or a store similar)
DeBoles Jerusalem Artichoke Spinach Pasta
Tilapia or Chicken
Baguettes
Parmesan Cheese
Marsala (white)
Garlic
Shallots
Lemon
Thyme
Prep:
Thinly slice garlic/ shallots
Squeeze Lemons
Shred the thyme
Cream a couple cloves of garlic by smashing and adding small amounts of salt
Bread:
1. Butter the sliced baguettes
2. Thinly spread on creamed garlic.
3. Sprinkle freshly grated parmesan cheese onto the baguettes.
4. Set aside on baking pan.
5. Bake when meal is almost complete, parmesan cheese should be melted.
Pasta:
1. Boil the pasta
2. Drain Pasta
3. Set aside
Meat:
1. Start heating the pan with olive oil or butter, which ever suits you.
2. Add thinly sliced garlic and shallots and brown in pan.
3. Cook tilapia adding salt and pepper then remove from pan, set aside, leave oil and garlic and shallots in pan.
4. Add white wine and lemon juice to pan and allow to "simmer".
5. Add tilapia again allowing it to cook a little more, flip it over and then remove, leaving juices in pan.
6. Add more oil/ butter and then add drained pasta to the sauce and mix.
7. Add thyme.
8. Add freshly shredded parmesan cheese.
9. ENJOY
